Our nearest Grocery Store is Ingels on Robbinsville. Go back to SR 28 turn left, drive up the hill and turn left on Hwy 143. It is approximately 15 miles. There are also some Restaurants and Gas Stations, Laundry-mat and Ice Cream Parlor.

Bryson City has a train that takes in the local scenery and takes you through the Nantahala Gorge. (Turn right on SR 28 – drive to SR 74 – turn left and exit on the 2nd Bryson City exit).

Fontana Dam is very interesting and impressive. Turn left on SR 28 and stay on it until signs will direct you to it.

Stecoah Baptist Church is just 1/4 to the right of our park. Service is 11:00AM Sunday (more services are available). Pastor Mike Teem (828) 735-1351

Stecoah Art Center has entertainment all summer, a gallery and a luncheonette. WIFI available. Turn right, go to the stop sign veer left and follow signs. (828) 479-3364

JOHN C. CAMPBELL FOK SCHOOL OF THE ARTS in Brasstown, NC, Harrah’s Casino in Cherokee, NC, White Water Rafting at the Nantahala Gorge, Horseback Riding, Boating and Hiking. The Joyce Kilmer Forest is awesome. For Bikers, there is the Tail of the Dragon – a very well known road for an amazing ride.
